Since opening our first store on Queen Anne hill in 1971, Metropolitan Market has been passionate about providing our customers with the finest culinary shopping experience in our grocery stores. Our mission is to provide legendary customer service in an exciting marketplace featuring a collection of world-class products.

Locally owned and operated, Metropolitan Market currently operates six stores in the Seattle/Tacoma area, and we are interested in expanding into new locations in the area. We have assembled an experienced store development team to assess all opportunities as we move forward with our goal of expanding the truly unique shopping experience provided by our stores.

Guidelines for new site consideration include:

• Densely populated areas with at least 30,000 people residing within a 2 mile radius of site
• Building size of 20,000-35,000 square feet, either new or existing
• Abundant parking
• Easy access from major roadways
• Excellent street visibility
