Mama Lil's Baked Goat Cheese

Serves 8 to 10

Super simple and utterly delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces goat cheese, at room temperature
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup Mama Lil's Sweet and Spicy Peppers in Brine, drained
  • 1 cup fig or apricot preserves
  • Crostini, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette, (to serve)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place goat cheese and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Mix until well blended. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Spread cheese mixture in an 8-inch baking pan or other small casserole dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine drained peppers with fruit preserves. Spread mixture over cheese.
  5. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, until heated through.
  6. Serve warm with crostini, crackers, or slices of baguette.
