
Crispy Buffalo Wings Recipe

Crispy Buffalo Wings
Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
- 4 lbs Metropolitan Market Free-Range Chicken Wings, cut into drumettes and flats
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Buffalo Sauce:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1 Tbsp honey (optional)
- Accompaniments (optional):
- Metropolitan Market Blue Cheese Dressing
- Celery sticks
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Line two large, rimmed baking sheets with oiled foil or parchment paper. Divide wings evenly between sheets. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 25 minutes. Flip. Continue baking until skin is crispy, about 20-25 more minutes.
- While wings are cooking, whisk together sauce ingredients in a large bowl. Adjust to preferred level of heat and sweetness.
- Toss wings with sauce and serve with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
- Cook’s Tip:
- Use the convection setting on your oven or an air fryer for extra-crispy results. Baking time may vary.

“See my review of the thai wings. same thing with these. if you don't have a cooker that offers convection, figure on 2hrs. also, i expected these wings to be hot..they were not. perhaps franks has varying degrees of heat. i just purchased the garden variety of frank's hot sauce and the heat that i expected wasn't there. i also wonder if adding the butter doesn't kill the "fire" of a hot sauce?”
