
Winter Margarita Recipe

Winter Margarita
Serves 1
Your summer favorite got a winter makeover — tequila añejo brings greater depth accented with flavors of orange, cranberry, and cinnamon.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz (1/4 cup) Metropolitan Market Fresh Orange Juice
- 3 oz (5 Tbsp) tequila añejo
- 1 oz (2 Tbsp) triple sec
- 1 1/2 oz (3 Tbsp) unsweetened cranberry juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Ice
- Garnishes:
- cinnamon stick and sugared cranberries (optional, see Cook’s Tip)
Directions:
- In a shaker full of ice, add all ingredients except for garnishes. Shake until outside of shaker becomes frosty.
- Slowly strain into a glass (serve it on the rocks or straight up). Add cinnamon stick and garnish with sugared cranberries.
- Cook’s Tip:
- To make sugared cranberries, stir cranberries in simple syrup. Remove with a slotted spoon. Roll in granulated sugar. Allow to dry.
