Lemony Greek Cabbage Salad Recipe


  • 1 small head green cabbage, sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 1/2 Tablespoon dried Greek oregano
  • 1 roasted red bell pepper, sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 10 pitted kalamata olives
  • 4 oz feta cheese, coarsely crumbled or sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Metropolitan Market olive oil


  1. In large salad bowl combine cabbage, oregano and half of the pepper slices, olives, feta and onion. Toss well. Make dressing by whisking together lemon juice and olive oil. Add to the salad and toss thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with remaining peppers, olives, feta and onion.
