- 1/2 liter vodka
- 3 stalks lemongrass
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise pod
- 1/2 tsp whole black peppercorns
- Pour vodka into a clean, decorative bottle.
- Trim tops of each lemongrass stalk to fit into bottle. Trim ends and remove and discard tough outer layer from each. Smash the end of each stalk with a mallet to allow maximum release of flavor. Insert stalks, ends down, into vodka. Add cinnamon stick, star anise and peppercorns.
- Seal bottle and store at room temperature for one week before serving.
