Pineapple Chile Margarita Cocktail
Serves 2
Fresh pineapple blended into a sweet, frothy nectar pairs well with the tart bite of Tajín in this tropical version of the classic cocktail.
Ingredients
- 3 lime wedges (for wetting rims and squeezing juice)
- Tajín (chile lime seasoning)
- Ice
- 2 ounces Grand Marnier
- 2 ounces tequila
Directions
- Set aside 2 slices pineapple for garnish. Place remaining pineapple chunks in blender and puree until smooth. Strain and discard solids. You will need 1 cup juice for the cocktail.
- Using lime wedge, wet rims of 2 cocktail glasses. Roll rims in Tajín.
- In a cocktail shaker full of ice, combine 1 cup pineapple juice, Grand Marnier, and tequila. Shake until cold. Strain into prepared glasses.
- Top each drink with a squeeze of lime juice. Garnish with pineapple slice.
