Apple Cup

This is one thing upon which both WSU and UW fans can agree—this cocktail is a Washington winner!
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Woodford Reserve Bourbon
- 2 ounces Washington apple cider
- 1 sprig thyme
- 1 ounce dry hard cider
- 1 large ice cube
- apple slice (for garnish)
Directions
- In a shaker, stir together all ingredients, except ice and apple slice.
- Place ice cube in an old-fashioned glass and strain cocktail into glass. Rub rim with apple slice and add it to glass along with a sprig of thyme.
- Bartender's Tip:
- If you want to slice the apple a couple hours ahead of time, dip slices in a bowl of salted water for a few seconds. Remove and refrigerate until ready to use.
