Champagne Dijon Vinaigrette Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup champagne vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. In a decorative pint bottle, combine vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, and garlic. Seal tightly. Shake well to dissolve sugar and salt.
  2. Add olive oil. Re-seal and shake again.
  3. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Cook Tips

For an interesting variation, use 1/2 cup walnut oil and 1/2 cup olive oil.
