Goat Cheese Spread with Pesto, Pine Nuts, and Tapenade
For a tasty gift, fill decorative glass jars from our housewares department with layers of creamy cheese, pesto, and tapenade. Ingredient amounts will vary according to the size and number of jars. Offer a jar of the spread with a box or two of your favorite crackers, a cheese spreader, and a bottle of wine.
- Creamy goat cheese
- Whipped cream cheese
- Prepared basil pesto
- Sundried tomatoes, drained and chopped, from our Antipasti Bar
- Toasted pine nuts
- Mix equal amounts of goat and cream cheeses together to make a creamy spread. Layer in jars with pesto sauce, sundried tomatoes and pine nuts.
- Seal jars with lids and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Cook’s Tip:
- Instead of pesto and sundried tomatoes layer the blended cheeses with fig spread and black olive tapenade.
