Frozen Strawberries Recipe
Freezing fruit is one of the best ways to bring spring and summer flavors to the table later in the year. Enjoy frozen berries in pies and smoothies, or make your own freezer jam.
- 1 lb strawberries
- Rinse strawberries and drain well.
- Remove the tops and place fruit on a clean towel.
- Once the strawberries are dry, spread them on a parchment-lined sheet pan or plate and freeze for 2 hours. This will prevent the berries from sticking together
- Place frozen fruit in a seal-top bag and keep frozen until ready to use.
