Empress 75 Cocktail Recipe

Empress 75 Cocktail

Makes 1

The French 75 is a classic. We've updated it by using Empress Gin 1908, which is a beautiful blue in the bottle. After the addition of acid to the drink, it will turn a pretty pink.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Ice
  • 1 1/2 ounce Empress Gin 1908
  • lemon twist, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Shake lemon juice and simple syrup with ice. Strain into chilled champagne glass.
  2. Add champagne or sparkling wine. Top with gin. Garnish with lemon twist.
  3. Chef's Note:

Ratings and Reviews

“We loved the pink french 75’s. these are not only beautiful & elegant in presentation but refreshing & delicious. they are the perfect balance of tart, light sweetness, light bubbles and the herbal gin. fun to serve at a party because they are so pretty and even people who say they don’t like champagne/ prosecco or gin enjoyed them. ”
“Super fun take on classic cocktail. ”
