Serves 4 to 6

Whether you're hosting guests for brunch or serving a casual, late-morning breakfast to your family, here's an easy solution that's sure to impress. Let everyone pile their favorite toppings on a warm bagel!

  • 8 ounces prepared salmon spread
  • 3 ounces hot smoked salmon
  • 3 ounces lox
  • 1 English cucumber, sliced
  • 1 large avocado, sliced
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup Pickled Red Onions
  • 1/3 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 cup pickled caper berries
  • 1/4 cup drained capers
  • 1/2 ounce fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 6 assorted bagels

  1. Assemble the board with everything but the bagels. Begin with larger items first. Fill in spaces with smaller items. Consider the use of small pinch bowls. Cover and refrigerate board until ready to serve.
  2. 20 minutes before serving, preheat oven to 300°F and remove board from fridge.
  3. Slice and warm bagels in oven for 5 minutes or longer, as desired.
