How to Create a Waffle Board Recipe

How to Create a Waffle Board

Look for ready-to-eat Belgian waffles in our bakery, pick up your favorites from the freezer, or make your own. We recommend offering a combination of savory and sweet toppings, but you can tailor the board to your taste. Plan on 2 - 3 waffles per person.

  • Applewood smoked bacon
  • Sweetened whipped cream
  • Belgian liège waffles with sugar pearls
  • Petite Belgian waffles
  • Salted European butter
  • Pure Maple Syrup
  • French Brie
  • Chocolate hazelnut spread
  • Chopped toasted hazelnuts
  • Strawberries
  • Bananas
  • Fresh basil

  1. Prepare bacon and whipped cream. Slice strawberries. Refrigerate whipped cream and berries until ready to serve.
  2. If using frozen waffles, heat according to package instructions.
  3. If desired, partially dip some waffles in melted chocolate and top with additional chopped chocolate or sprinkles. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second increments, stirring in between and being careful not to burn. Allow to dry on a rack over a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Assemble the board. Save bananas and slice just before serving.
