Pear Spritz Cocktail

Pear and prosecco play perfectly together in this spritzy, sparkly sipper, while cardamom bitters and maple syrup add delicious depth. This cocktail offers a great way to use leftover sparkling wine. Or, if you don't need a whole bottle, get a split (187ml).

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 1 1/2 ounces Amontillado sherry
  • 1 ounce pear cider
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 dash cardamom bitters
  • 2 ounces Champagne or Prosecco
  • Pear slice (for garnish)
  • Thyme sprig (for garnish)

Directions

  1. In a tall glass of ice, add Amontillado, pear cider, maple syrup, and bitters. Stir until blended.
  2. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with pear slice and thyme sprig.
