Hopelink's mission is to promote self-sufficiency for all members of our community; we help people make lasting change.
A wildlife habitat project that helps mitigate the changes that come with growth and redevelopment and also helps keep it a lush and welcoming home for people and critters.
A non-profit social service agency dedicated to helping members of the West Seattle community.
A passion to connect with our immediate neighborhood is at the heart of Metropolitan Market and has been since the first store opened as Queen Anne Thriftway in 1971. We want to know our customers by first name and to be known as a trusted partner. Along with offering better tasting, higher quality food, greater local choices, and a more pleasant customer experience, we participate in and give back to our community.
We partner with dozens of neighborhood causes, needs, and events:
The Community Support Program provides gift cards or other means of support to neighborhood events, such as auctions and fundraisers. Read our Community Support Guidelines and download an application to return to the nearest store if your organization is interested in partnering with us.
Through our Metropolitan Market Scrip Program we help schools and non-profit organizations raise money when their supporters shop in our stores.
We partner with local food banks to provide thousands of pounds of healthy food in an effort to reduce hunger in our communities.
